Mental Health & Wellbeing

AT RHYTHMIA HEALTH

At Rhythmia, we believe that caring for your mind is inseparable from caring for your body.
Our approach is rooted in acceptance, curiosity, and connection — creating a safe, affirming space for all people and all stories. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, burnout, identity, or creative stagnation, our goal is to meet you where you are and help you reconnect with your own rhythm.

We welcome artists, professionals, students, parents, and anyone seeking a more authentic and balanced way to live.

Here, mental health care is person-forward, nonjudgmental, and deeply human.

Our Approach

  • Person-Centered: You are the expert on your life. We collaborate with you to uncover what’s most meaningful and supportive in your journey.

  • Inclusive & Unbiased: Our care affirms all identities and experiences. We’re committed to providing a safe space for LGBTQ+ individuals, creatives, and anyone seeking open-minded support.

  • Integrated Care: Because we are a primary care practice, your emotional and physical wellbeing are treated as parts of one whole system — not separate silos.

  • Creative & Holistic: We understand that healing can happen through conversation, music, art, mindfulness, movement, and connection. We honor all paths toward growth.

Chad LeBlanc, LCPC-C

Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor
Mental Health Therapist & Group Facilitator

Hello! I’m so glad you’re here.

My name is Chad, and I believe in the deep connection between mind, body, and soul. My path into counseling has been shaped by both personal passions and professional training, and I strive to bring a holistic, human approach to the work I do.

I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Southern Maine and am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor practicing here in Portland. Guided by Rogerian principles of unconditional positive regard, empathy, and genuineness, I see therapy as a collaborative process where clients remain in charge of their choices and direction.

My work integrates evidence-based modalities, including Emotion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing, diagnosis and treatment planning, and group process facilitation. I specialize in helping individuals build coping strategies that allow them to stay present with difficult emotions while addressing root causes and fostering long-term growth.

Before becoming a therapist, I cultivated my appreciation for the mind–body connection as a yoga instructor, teaching on the West Coast and in Costa Rica. This experience continues to shape my therapeutic perspective — emphasizing balance, resilience, and lifelong growth.

Outside of my work with clients, you’ll often find me riding motorcycles, traveling, playing music, or waving at dogs (and sometimes their owners). I believe in lifelong activity, creativity, and learning — and I bring that same energy and curiosity into my practice with every client and group I meet.
